What would happen if you turn off the TV for just a half hour a day and did something else instead? If you just sacrificed one show you could –
- Get in shape with a 30 minute/day exercise program (you could simply run/walk 2-3 miles). Just that much can make a big difference.
- Watch a TED talk a day and learn something that could change your life.
- Start a blog
- Read2 books a month (the average millionaire reads 1 non-fiction book per month)
- Learn a new skill (that’s how I managed a career change in “3 weeks”)
- Catch up with an old friend (think about what would happen if you just contacted 15 people every month and built a relationship with them, both personally and/or professionally)
- Get more involved in serving at a church/non-profit
Is Jersey Shore that worth giving up other things for?
Yes, you probably do have the time. It’s just what you’re choosing to do with it.
