Oppression

I’m just going to post this one straight from my wife’s Facebook status. She writes how my 3 year old talks (when she’s quoting him), so it’s a little hard to follow, but she does a good job of interpreting:

(While watching the Curious George movie with Will Farrell)
Cole: I don’t wike dat guy. (a bad guy)
Me: Why not?
Cole: Becauth he’th mean and oppwethive.
Me:Did you just say oppressive? What does that mean?
Cole: Yeth, it meanth dat he ith mean and he doethn’t wet da people do what dey weaddy want to do.
Me: He doesn’t let the people do what he really wants to do?
Cole: Yeth, dat’th what it meanth.

How does a 3 year old start talking about oppression?!

And one day, I’m actually going to post Kid Day Monday stuff on Monday.
